RapidKL: Operator of the Kelana Jaya Line, Ampang Line, KL Monorail & Rapid Buses
RapidKL, the short name for Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn Bhd, operates the key transport system of Kuala Lumpur and Penang buses.

RapidKL is a subidiary of Prasarana, the short name for Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad.
Prasarana is a wholly-owned Government company under the Ministry of Finance. It is set up to restructure, own and manage key public infrastructure projects of the Government.
Currently these are the public transport assets and operations of Prasarana:
- RapidKL LRT Kelana Jaya Line
- RapidKl LRT Ampang Line
- RapidKl KL Monorail
- Rapid Bus for Kuala Lumpur
- Rapid Bus for Penang
- Cable car service in Langkawi

In August 2007, the Federal Government set up Rapid Penang Sdn. Bhd to undertake the revamp of bus operations in Penang. Rapid Penang Sdn. Bhd. (Rapid Penang) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prasarana, operate the Penang bus services with a fleet of 350 buses.
In December 2007, Prasarana took over the assets and operations of KL Monorail System. The KL Monorail now is managed by KL StarRail Sdn. Bhd. (KLSR) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prasarana.
RapidKL opertes the integrated public transport system in the Klang Valley. RapidKl was incorporated in July 2004 and operational since November the same year.
RapidKL operates the Ampang Line LRT(previously known as STAR-LRT) from Sentul Timur to Ampang and Sri Petaling, and the Kelana Jaya Line LRT (previously known as PUTRA-LRT) from Kelana Jaya to Gombak.
RapidKL buses operate in 165 routes covering 980 housing estates in the Klang Valley daily.
